Call of Duty 4 1.5 Patch for PC Available: need a Sony PS3 update

Although we are yet to see a much-needed patch for the Sony PS3 version of COD4, PC owners are getting another update from Infinity Ward in the form of a Call of Duty 4 1.5 Patch.

The changes in this patch include:

• Mod tools will now work with other languages
• Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads
• Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps
• Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server
• Fixed map rotation errors with user maps
• Allow developer script for multiplayer modding
• Made mod scripts able to change stats
• Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder
• The “hold [ ] to steady” sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it
• Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers

Bare in mind you will not be able to find 1.4 servers if you update to COD4 patch 1.5, also you will need the Winter Crash map that’s in patch 1.4, so remember to update to that first.
