Cloverfield UK Release Today 1-18-08: so was it any good?

Cloverfield the movie had been along time coming and on it’s opening weekend in the U.S. it took $40m at the Box Office, we have also seen the real camera behind the monster movie, a possible Cloverfield game, an incredibly life-like toy and just yesterday Paramount confirmed a Cloverfield sequel.

Today is the UK release of Cloverfield; will the UK filmgoers like it?
