VPL-VW40 Projector from Sony

A home theatre projector called the Sony VPL-VW40 which is capable of 1080p full HD and will use the Sony SXRD technology, to create the original cinematic viewing experience.

The VPL-VW40 has True Cinema with the ability to handle 1080/24p invut via HDMI, from the PS3 or a Blu-ray player. The other benefit of this projector is that it has horizontal and vertical lens adjustment and an easy to use keypad.

There has been no confirmation on the price yet, but Sony are set to be aiming at the more affordable end of the market.
