Sony PS3 120GB Update: UK will not be getting it

Just an update following the news we gave you on the Sony PS3 120GB or 160GB (See Here), the latest news is that there WILL NOT be a 120GB Sony PS3 in the UK. The rumor of the 120GB+ PS3 has got many people talking and we like many people only write what we have seen or heard.
In a statement to GameIndustry.biz a Sony representative said that they do not currently have plans to release the PlayStation 3 120GB version in the UK, which basically squashes the idea of the extra HD space for the upcoming PlayTV service which launches in March.
The question is “Is it only the UK that will not see this console and will it still come to America?

Well, I might live in the U.S. but I do feel sorry for those in the U.K not getting this model. I mean they’re not even getting the 60gb model the model that played both ps2 and ps1 games. 80gb models play ps2 games but not ALL of them. Oh well, maybe they’ll get something new as well - but at least they’re getting the Dualshock 3.
PS3 blows anyways. buy a 360 and a Wii and it will be a better deal
