It has been said that Madonna is the highest-earning woman in music.

Madonna who is 49 has topped the first Cash Queens of Music list, compiled by Forbes.com, after raking in $72 million between June 2006 and June 2007.

Barbra Streisand who is 65 finished second with $60 million. And Celine Dion who Is 39, came third with $45 million.
