Future professional DSLR’s getting Sony’s 24.81 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor

Sony’s new 35mm CMOS sensor will be made available in 2008 and aims to mimic the aspect ratios and distortion of their film predecessors.
The “Column-Parallel A/D Conversion Technique” that Sony uses is said to achieve high S/N even while shooting 6.3, 12-bit frames per second at full resolution.
