We all know that the Nintendo Wii wins hands down to win the console sales crown, but you have to take your hats of for the Microsoft Xbox 360. The reason the hats should come of because the Xbox 360 sells more software.
Chris Liddell, Microsoft CFO recently told CNBC that the Xbox 360’s life-to-date attach rate is at 7 games sold per Xbox 360 Console, this means that this is higher than the 5.3 attach rate reported last January according to Eurogamer.
So it seems that 360 fans are spending more money on games now than the Xbox 360 console itself.

Lol. Clearly
yes Ivan, the failure rate on 360’s is high, however the xbox team is doing everything that they can (and should) to fix free of charge anyone’s console that malfunctions. they also give you free gold XBL memberships to boot.
360 has the best library of games. end of story.
Well I think the high attach rate (which seems to be forever climbing) is testament that hardware failures have not affected Xbox owners as much as people would like to make out. The 360 has been the best gaming platform for the last 2 years and still is. Although the failures are disappointing, at least they are covered and MS gamers back up and gaming again in no time.
I was in a game store a couple of weeks back and there were 8 shelves dedicated to the xbox, 2 for the wii, 4 for the ds, 4 for the pc and only 1 for the ps3. ps3 need to get the finger out and stop delaying all of their games because games sell consoles
