Ron Paul and Barack Obama favorite of young people: WHY?

Now why would most votes go to these two but not in a Miami Herald poll with 800 sample voters?

In this mock, Barack Obama got 49 percent of the votes for the Democratic mock primary and Ron Paul won the Republican’s mock primary with 27 percent of the votes.
Would it be possible that these younger people get more of their news online where there is more free speech than mainstream media?
