Most iPod users would have been pleased when they were able to rent movies for around $2.99, but iPod owners have since discovered that it is only available to the owners of the very latest devices.

Apple did however add a foot note to state this on the official announcement, but a lot of people have just assumed that it will work on the whole range. The movies will not work on the 5th gen iPods, but they will however work on the following:

iPod touch
iPod nano with video
iPod classic

People are leaving comments on the site as they are confused and angry as to why it won’t work. One person had purchased their iPod less than 6 months ago and the service wouldn’t work.
