New: Nikon D60 Replaces the D40x
Yes it is official the Nikon’s D40x will be replaced in February with the new D60.

It’s said that the D60 is one of the smallest Nikon digital SLRs ever.
With a split-second shutter response it’s said that the Nikon D60 will capture pictures that cameras with longer time lags miss.

The D60 features the ability to edit pictures while they’re still in the camera which means you can correct red-eye and much more.

The D60 also has an improved dust cleaning function it shakes any dust or dirt off the sensor, and features an “Airflow Control System” that channels particles away from the sensor every time the shutter is clicked.

The camera uses a 2.5-inch colour LCD display and supports Eye-Fi memory cards, which can transfer pictures wirelessly to a Mac or PC.
