Beyonce Knowles To Star As Etta James In Caddillac Records

Beyonce is set to star in new movie Caddillac Records. The stunning singer turned actress will be playing the formidable Etta James in the film, which follows the story of the Chigaco music scene in the 1950s. During the film we’ll see the start of the careers of singers including Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Elvis Presley.

Miss Knowles will be joining Adrien Brody and Jeffrey Wright. Ok, so Beyonce doesn’t really look a thing like Etta James and their voices are very different but I’m sure Beyonce will work hard at getting the raspy notes and pull it off.
