Good news for Sony PS3 gamers, this XFPS adapter is now available for $99, which some of you may say it is too expensive but hey I will tell you more anyway. The XFPS adapter will allow you to plug in a USB or PS/2 mouse and keyboard and map it to the appropriate commands on your PlayStation 3 controller.

Ok people here is my thought on this – Ok yes this adapter makes sense for the Xbox 360 which does not support mouse or keyboard in any game, so my question is “Do you need it for the Sony PS3 though?

PS3 XCM XFPS RATE UP ADAPTER

Ok there are loads of USB ports and only a few games like UT3 and Resistance will allow you too actually use something else besides the standard controller to play. Oh and it will also let you plug your Playstation 2 DualShocks.

So my question is: Can you use your older XFPS units that work with Xbox 360 and add the PS2 to PS3 adapter to make the PS2 part of it work with a PS3 rather then having to get another XFPS that only works for PS3?
