Sony PS3 120GB or 160GB bundled with Dual Shock 3 controllers too

We all know that one Sony Playstation 3 has been discontinued which Sony will not admit to themselves. Basically the new rumor is that there is another model taking the 80GB consoles place and which will be bundled with Dual Shock 3 controllers, prices will apparently be the same.
The new model will have a 120GB or 160GB hard drive, good news for the fanboys then. The rumor does not say that the new SKU will have backwards compatibility, more than 2 USB ports or even memory card readers.
The 40GB version is ok for the masses, personally I have the 60 GB version which plays PS2 games so the new 120GB or 160GB versions will be a great addition, stupid seeing as they got rid of one model really.
The main question has to be “Why on earth such a big hard drive? Is there something in the pipeline that Sony is making that will take a chunk of the space up? Cool music downloads or video downloads or even some new addition for the Playstation Home?
