Christopher Allport Has Died aged 60

It has been reported that Christopher Allport who was the television actor and backcountry skier has died on Friday while skiing.
It said that his body was found yesterday in the San Gabriel Mountains.
There was a snow slide that has claimed the lives of at least three so far in Southern California. The avalanche took the lives of three skiiers, among them was actor Christopher Allport.
Christopher Allport was born in 1947. He had a lengthy acting career that began in 1973 with a role in the TV movie “The Connection”.
During his career, he played small one-time and recurring roles on a variety of television shows, including 7th Heaven, ER and “Picket Fences”, among many others.
Christopher wrote an article in 2004 for the Los Angeles Times on the joy of backcountry skiing. In that article, he wrote,
“Any excursion into the mountains requires awareness. Have fun, but be careful.”
Sadly it was skiing that lost him his life
