Unveiled in New York: Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo

Virgin have unveiled their new Galactic SpaceShipTwo at New York on Wednesday, the spacecraft looks very sleek. The ship itself is attached to a huge mothership that has a twin-boom design which has been called WhiteKnightTwo.

According to Fox News Scaled Composites run by aerospace pioneer Burt Rutan will begin test of Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo early as this summer. Founder of Virgin has said that “”Two thousand and eight really will be the year of the spaceship.” He then went on to say “We’re truly excited about our new system and what our new system will be able to do.”
