CGI vs Gameplay
More and more of late gamers have been complaining that they want gameplay trailers for the latest games and not CGI videos.

When we first hear of games coming out they show us teaser CGI trailers for a while before they get to gameplay videos, but surely this is the way its got to be while the gameplay footage is improved enough to show to the world.

Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 gamers, tell us does it really bother you having to watch lots of CG game trailers before you get to gameplay videos.

    Doesnt bother me at all….

Sure that footage was always known as CGI, they never said that that was in game!

Most ads on TV (in europe) have “not in game footage” on tv ads nowadays….

YES This annoys the hell out of me. Two notable cases that come to mind are Halo 3 and Killzone 2. These both looked so great in movie form but have both turned out to look no better than any other shooter this generation.

Gayo, right, because you’ve played Killzone and totally know how it looks at 1080p resolution. Got it. Not to mention that the video they released DOES look really close to the CGI released at E3 2005… AND that the game looks way better than any current gen shooter.
