Palm set to close retail stores by the end of January

It seems as if things are getting worse and not better for Palm as we now hear that they are to close all of their retail stores, except the ones at airport-based stores. According to Treo Central Forum these retail stores will in fact close their doors by the end of January.

Palm has a lot of soul searching to do, what was once a great company seems to be in some of its darkest hours. Palm really need to get their act together as if things keep heading in the direction that the company has been going, then there could be more trouble ahead.
