Apple MacBook Air five hour battery life prediction: more like 3.5 hours
Many of us are waiting for the all the specifications to be posted on the new Apple MacBook Air, however there are a few people who do not have to wait as they have been given one of these very thin laptops to try for themselves. Newsweek, USA Today and Wall Street Journal have all been given a MacBook Air to try, and some of the results are very surprising.

One of the biggest surprises according to Engadget is the battery life of the MacBook Air, Apple predicted that the laptop would last for 5 hours on a full charge; well it seems as if this was a bit optimistic as the battery in fact has only been lasting around 3.5 hours. Another disappointment is the lack of performance for the MacBook Air; it seems as if this new laptop from Apple could be off to a poor start.
