2008 Fashion for Dogs in Japan

The year of the dog is not due until 2018, but Japan have decided to kick start 2008 with a dog fashion show, as there are more dogs in Japan than children the majority of people would spend their hard earned cash on their dogs.

A New Year Dog Party was held on the 12 and 13 January 2008 at the largest exposition sentre in Tokyo. 18 of the finest designs were selected to travel down the runway which had been set up up by Pet Fashion Week New York, which willbe holding their own shown in August this year.
