Sony’s VAIO® TP Home Theater PC - Premium Model is a piece of technology that you’ll want to have in your home. Not only does it look fantastic, but inside is pretty special too. Rocking an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 and genuine Window’s Vista Home Premium, this is much more than your usual Home Theater PC.
With the VAIO® TP Home Theater PC, you can watch Blu-ray Discs, watch and record HDTV and Internet-based TV. Not only that, but the premium model comes with two external CableCARD compatible TV tuners so you can watch and record two HD programmes at the same time.
It’s built-in DVR function means that each unit is able to record up to 50 hours of HD television - that’s a lot of television!

You absolutely don’t want this in your home.
It’s a rubbish product. The TV output is truly, astonishingly bad, despite the TV being set to 1080HD.
The PC desktop is blurry, and cannot be made any sharper using with Windows settings without losing the taskbard at the bottom and this losing control of the desktop.
The DVD pitcure is worse than any £20 DVD player you could get from a supermarket.
It’s awful and at £900 it amounts to robbery.
Stay well away.
