Seitz Phototechnik 6×17: 160 megapixel digital camera

Many of you might be proud of your 32 megapixel digital camera; well I think that Seitz Phototechnik might just make you feel sick. They have just launched the 6×17, you might think so what, and the thing is this camera has a massive 160 megapixel. However there is one downside to this, it’s not very compact.

The shots that the 6×17 can take are truly amazing; the read-out speed is 300MB per second that is over 100 x faster than any other camera on the market. The exposure speed is very fast as well at 1/2′000 per pixel. The vertical resolution is 7,500 and 21,250 pixels horizontally.
