Diamond Multimedia Radeon HD 3850: perfect GPU for overclockers
By: Peter Chubb | January 23, 2008 | Leave a Comment

The original onboard memory was only 256mb, so Diamond has doubled that the 512mb, this will help improve the frame buffer performance. As the Diamond Radeon HD 3850 GPU is now faster it requires more cooling so Diamond has replaced the single slot cooler and replaced it with a larger cooling system, as the temperatures are lower the card runs smoother.
The funny fact is Diamond state that this is an overclocked card, even though they have left the clock speeds at their default.
