For those who wish to know what real camera was behind the monster movie Cloverfield can now sit back and relax, because we have the low down. Many people thought that the movie was filmed with a cheap camera and many did not have a clue and wanted to know, well we know.
The film Cloverfiled gives you the audience that point of successful angles and this was all thanks to the top of the line (not cheap) CineAlta HD camera the F23.
The camera is a 1080p camera that shoots anywhere from 1P to 60P a second which means 24P shooting which is the exact frame rate of film is no problem, the movie is claimed to have been captured on an SD card.

Now come on how can that work seeing as the little card could never in a million years write an uncompressed 4:4:4 (full color space) image in real time, but instead the film makers probably used the Sony’s SRW-1 which can hook directly to the camera to allow both easy shooting and recording speeds of 110MB/sec (versus an SD card’s 20MB/sec).
Oh do you want to know the price of the Sony F23? How does $115,000 sound, if you wish to know more about the camera then please visit the Sony Press.
