This Years Oscar Nominations Are In

Oscar.com have posted this years Oscar nominations, with Sweeney Todd, Juno, Michael Clayton and No Country For Old Men leading the pack. The latter two films are both up for eight Oscars.

There were some surprises with the nominations. Keria Knightly, who was expected to be up for the Best Actress award, hasn’t been nominated this year while Juno’s Ellen Page has been.

British actor Daniel Day Lewis is flying the flag for the Brits with his Best Actor nomination for his role in There Will Be Blood. James McAvoy wasn’t nominated. Daniel Day Lewis will be up against Johnny Depp (my winner) and George Clooney.

The ceremony will take place in LA on February 24th.
