Seagate have always been big when it comes to hard drives in desktops, but they have never been a big contender when it comes to laptops. Well that is until now as Seagate now having the new 250GB Momentus 5400 series. The specs of this new laptop drive is up there with the likes of Fujitsu, Hitachi and Western Digital, however you would pay over $250 for those models, but the Seagate 250GB Momentus 5400 will only cost you $165.
The Momentus 5400 laptop drive only has a speed of 5400 which is more than fast enough, however if you are looking for something a little faster but still do not want to pay the prices of some of the other brands, then according to TG Daily, Seagate are planning a 7200RPM version.
