Olympus Reveal Their New Mju Models: The Mju 840 and The Mju 1010

Olympus has revealed that their spring-line up will include two brand new models for the Mju range. These will be the Olympus µ 840 and µ 1010.
Both models come with 2.7 inch screens, Dual Image Stabilisation system, Face Detection and BrightCapture Technology as well as a new in-camera function. Not only that, but both cameras can record movies with sound up to VGA resolution at 30fps.
The mju 840 rocks 8 mega pixels with a 5x optical zoom with the Super Macro function supporting a minimum shooting distance of 3cm. The camera comes in a range of colours including candy pink, Ocean Blue, Midnight Black and Starry Silver.

It’s big brother, the mju 1010 comes with a 10.1 mega pixel image with a 7x optical zoom. The camera also comes with an ultra-slim LI-50B rechargeable battery which boasts an increased lifespan of up to 25%.
The Olympus µ [mju:] 840 and µ [mju:] 1010 will be available from February at £199.99 for the 840 and £229.99 for the 1010.
