The Dell XPS M1530 to some could very well be the ultimate gaming laptop, but is it as good as Dell say it is?. The older XPS laptops were great in the way of performance and design, so Dell had a lot to live up to. Pocket-Lint seems to think that the M1530 means business from the start, the modern classic design packed with all the hardware needed to make this a great gaming laptop.

The first thing you will notice is how larger and heavier the XPS M1530 to the previous Dell XPS laptops. The magnesium-allow body gives the laptop a robust quality while still looking sleek and sexy with a choice of different colors. With past laptops dell has always got it wrong with the keyboards, from poor layout to cheap quality, however Dell seems to have got it right this time as this new silver keyboard is a joy to use.

The Dell XPS M1530 gaming laptop comes with an Intel 2GHz Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, and 2GB of memory as standard. This is more than enough for most; however you can upgrade this if you are looking for even more power.

Prices start at just £849

i remember reading about a bios update that fixed the touchpad problem when opening and closing the laptop and the touchpad acting weird so it might possibly fix your problem too but im not 100% sure

the apoint.exe failed to load lanucher dll error is unrelated to the touchpad close-reopen laptop issue as i already have the bios update but only recently started getting the apoint.exe problem
anyone out there have any ideas on fixing this problem besides doing a windows recovery install?
