Apple MacBook Air Battery
Following on from our post last week when the Apple MacBook Air was released, we heard then that if your battery failed it would cost $129 for a new one and you would get a free install from Apple (as they are non-user-replaceable batteries).

Well today we got a little bit more news about what it really takes to replace the battery in a Mac Air, apparently all you need is the new battery and a size 0 Phillips head screwdriver…the replacement can be done by you in as quick as 3 minutes.

Apple is still obviously recommending that anyone needing their battery replaced should take it to a Genius Bar.
