Everyone knows about the Xbox 360 RROD (red ring of death) thanks to some 33% of games consoles getting this problem, now we have proof of the Sony PS3 death with a so called YLOD.
The video below shows a Playstation 3 with yellow lights, it sounds like a hard drive gone bad to me from the clicking noise as that’s what I have had with many PC hard drives.
Every product gets faults, but it’s just what percentage of that product that counts. We have heard around 1% of PS3’s have problems and why shouldn’t they, but this is nothing compared to the well known and joked about world-wide RROD.
In the case of the gamer that made this video below, his console has already been taken away by Sony.
Update:
raza514 made a good point, the sound is not coming from the ps3….it was there before he turned it on.

why doesnt he just reset it.
I’m on my 15th xbox, 6 of them were the elites!!!!!
What short memories?
PS3 is a very well built machine without any problems that compare to the 360’s, but the PSX and certainly the PS2 was nearly as bad as the 360.
Also, where does this “33%” statistic come from? Can we get a source for this? Or do they not believe in Journalistic integrity in Europe?
If you was to remove the hdd, would you get the yellow light? Yes that clicking sound was there before they switched on the power and hdd don’t make those noises without power.
Amen to that, Dude. Unfortunately, 360 fanboys just have to, HAVE TO, have the last say when anything good is said about another console.
Any news when an Xbox 360 that doesn’t have hardware that’s as reliable as a piece of shit coming to the US anyone?
This seems to be the theme of this website:
“dredge up any BS so as to make fanboys respond with fervour”.
This article is about as informative as reading toilet paper after its been used. Absolutely pointless crap.
Oh. I should point out, that this fault is NOT terminal - this idiot has purposely caused this to happen, by removing the hdd. Try it. Remove the hdd and turn it on.. ooohh.. look yellow light. Frikkin idiots.
