You have to admit that when it comes to cars Proton is not the best cars to get excited about, however just recently you would be wrong as the 2008 Proton Saga has to be one of the most anticipated cars due for production. The new Saga for months has been called the BLM, but now Proton have gone back to basics with this car and now aim to give us a cheap affordable car that is very economical while still looking like an everyday sedan.

There are many sites who have been following the BLM oh sorry the Saga for many months, but it is Paul Tan who has given us the best and detailed coverage of how the car was progressing. So it feels right that he gets to show us some nice new images of the 2008 Proton Saga and to also report on his test drive of this vehicle.

persona only being a hot babies just for one month
Spoke to a friend of mine who works at proton, and he mentioned that the real attraction of this new saga is the engine. Apparently, the IAFM seems to make a marked difference, especially addressing the low end rpm torque issue. It has also been tested rigorously, proving that it’s been earmarked to be a very reliable and robust powerplant.
I’ve a small family, self emloyed with a decent income, and looking for a new car means looking for one that relates to my family lifestyle. This new saga seems to have it all for me, decent looks, reliable and low maintenance powerplant (that’s what proton said la, we shall see), good handling, space…and airbags? The airbag is the one that got me hooked. Safety, of course is integral in my decision making. RM3xxxx car with airbags? I think I’m sold…
