Xbox Live Members Sue Microsoft For Faulty Service: your thoughts

The poor Xbox 360 had another blow dealt to them earlier this week. Three Texas gamers have decided to sue the company last December after they couldn’t get online to play popular games Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3.
In a class-action lawsuit which was filed on January 4th, Keith Kay, Orlando Perez and Shannon Smith claimed that along with millions of other Xbox Live users, they suffered damages of $5 million.
This has got to be a first? Suing because they couldn’t connect to Xbox Live – couldn’t they just ring customer services to see if the problem could be fixed? The gamers lawyer, Jason Gibson, told MTV news,
“These are not guys looking to get rich. They are in their late 20s and 30s. They are college-educated. These are not young kids who just turned 18 and [want] to sue for the fun of it. This is, to them, a real issue.”
