New Everex 9-inch CloudBook set to take on Asus Eee PC in June

There are rumors circulating that a new Everex 9-inch CloudBook could be on sale by as early as June, this news comes as the smaller Cloudbook goes on sale across the US in Wal-Mart stores this weekend. The Cloudbook is a direct competitor to the Asus Eee PC.

The larger 9-inch version will have a larger keyboard and also more memory, and should have a price tag around $500. According to Computer World the Everex 9-inch CloudBook like its smaller brother is Linux based, and could even come with new skins.

Everex also has plans to release a range of smaller CloudBook’s, however these are just rumors.
