Ike Turner Died of Cocaine Overdose

In December 2007 Ike Turner died at the age of 76 and according to a report filed by the San Diego County coroner’s office on Wednesday he died of a cocaine overdose.

Ike had battled an addiction with cocaine since the late 1960’s until it finally took his life in December 2007.

Paul Parker who is the chief investigator at the medical examiner’s office said that “We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that’s what resulted in the cocaine toxicity”.
