Hayden Panettiere In Talks To Star In I Love You Beth Cooper

The television show Heroes has had great success, so it’s only right for the stars of the show to use their new found fame to launch their movie careers. We all know that Zachary Quinto, who plays Sylar in the show, is playing Spock in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek, but out favourite Cheerleader Hayden Panettiere is about to take her first lead role in the movie world.

Panettiere is currently in talks to star in the Fox Atomic teen comedy I Love You Beth Cooper, which is set to start shooting in the spring. Hayden will play Cheerleader (quelle surprise!) Beth Cooper who finds herself embarking on a series of comical misadventures with a nerd after he tells her he loves her.

I know it sounds pretty samey but I don’t think that director Chris Columbus thinks so. With Columbus at the helm, it seems this film has just gathered a lot more potential.
