Samsung 128GB solid state hard drive now official

This is a MLC (multi-level cell)-based SSDs and Samsung has moved up a gear with the 128GB drive, although we are hearing today that EMC are to launch 146GB solid-state drives.
The Samsung 128GB SSD will start shipping in the first half of 2008 and although we do not know the price, I am sure it will be a lot.
