Leslie Ash To Settle Her Compensation Case Over a superbug

It has been reported that Leslie Ash is ready to settle her compensation case after contracting a superbug that nearly killed her. It’s been said that she could get around £500,000.

Leslie contracted MSSA which is a variant of MRSA at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital three years ago.

Leslie’s lawyer Janice Gardener said that “Matters are at a delicate stage but we can confirm that we are no longer going to court. The case will be settled in full this week.”

The NHS trust initially agreed a payment of £250,000 after the hospital admitted a breach of duty.

Leslie was being treated at the London hospital for a punctured lung and two cracked ribs when she contracted the super bug and now she has to walk with a stick.
