Apple iPhone and iPod Touch 1.1.3 jailbreak: how long?

January 16, 2008 | Filed under Apple News, News

iPhone and iPod Touch
Yesterday I gave my iPhone an update to the new 1.1.3 firmware which is also available to the iPod Touch, it did take a few hours to get because of millions of other people trying the same time as me (but got their there in the end).

How long will it be before we see an iPhone and iPod Touch 1.1.3 jailbreak?

With the 1.1.2 update we heard that hackers were able to jailbreak it right away, although it’s not needed by me it still amazes me that these software updates can be broken so easy…I guess it’s just a matter of time.

1.1.3 finally came and I can see that we now have place for more Apps.
Great, but where are they ?
I have seen how many cool and use full apps that’s already out there.
Why is it that Apple can not open the door and let us use them.
Why is it taking so long.
The smart people are already making all the cool stuff.

Or is it that Apple just need to make more money ?
Are Apple the new Microsoft ?

The hackers are already busy at finding a workable jailbreak for 1.1.3 ; the competitive race is on;-)

Who writes for this website? Do you have any idea what you’re talking about? 1.1.3 is proving nearly impossible to jailbreak from all the stuff I’ve read on multiple websites. Although I’m sure the iphone/ipod touch hacking community will find a way…..This guy, who can’t even use the english language correctly writes that “With the 1.1.3 update we heard that hackers were able to jailbreak it right away”. Where did you hear this? Trust me, it’s BS. What really cracks me up is that you give the option to sign up for your newsletter…. You’re an idiot, who in their right mind would want to subscribe to your newsletter?

Wow, I’m really ranting now, but seriously, I hope you don’t get paid to write reviews for this website….

I’m sure he meant to say 1.1.2 update.

Ok so I missed the 2 out at the end, it should have been 1.1.2, but as “Trent Kocurek” guessed…I corrected now.

Very funny how “Jimbo Jones” almost had a heart attack over it.

Anyway, yes we are hearing they have broken the firmware already http://www.product-reviews.net/2008/01/21/apple-ipod-touch-and-iphone-113-jailbreak-now-broken/

    I agree with Jimbo.

You write “(but got their in the end).) You don’t know the difference between their and THERE?

In 3 sentences you have 2 errors. Does not instill confidence dude.
