Patrick Goschy’s Nintendo Wii Story: what’s your opinion?

They learned that Patrick still had the original prototype controller and had no plans on suing Nintendo (well he could not really as his last employer Midway owned all of his patents).
Engadget said “Nintendo bought the patents from Midway, since Nintendo references one of the patents in its application for the Wiimote”.
All that Patrick Goschy wants is recognition; he said “I just wanted people to know. Wanted the truth to come out. Did this 8 years ago, and the Wii has been such a huge deal, I wanted the truth to get out there. It wasn’t these two or three Japanese guys that came up with this thing”.
What’s your opinion, should he get recognition?
