Well LG are well aware and have launched the SteamWasher with an extra dose of allergen-reducing magic which is apparently the “first washing machine proven to reduce allergens”.
You can spot the difference in the new units because they have a unique Allergiene laundry cycle, which aims to reduce “pet dander and dust mites on fabrics by around 95-percent”. The LG SteamWasher has been certified allergy and asthma friendly by the AAFA.
The device is priced $1,399 to $2,699 and you can also buy a matching SteamDryer which has a price tag of $1,199 to $2,699.
