26-part Madeleine McCann TV Show made by Portuguese
A new 26-part TV Show made by Portuguese Television chiefs has upset the public becuase its about Madeleine McCann and been dubbed “disgusting”, the only reason I can see they would want to do this show is to make money out of missing British toddler Madeline McCann.
It’s annoying because all the slowness from the start by the Portuguese Police meant that valuable time was wasted, I understand they have laws that stopped them talking about the case (different in the UK), but if this is true then why are they now making a TV series…did I mention that its being made by a policeman turned criminologist Francisco Moita Flores.
An un-named friend of the McCanns said “Any TV channel who buys it will be paying blood money for it”

It’s outrageous. And so is the comment by Meg Sedlar. The McCanns are victims of a terrible crime and are suffering beyond belief the loss of their little girl. Not knowing what has become of her and if she is being abused or if she is dead must be tearing them apart inside. Have some compassion! And remember, we are all innocent until proven guilty and there is no evidence to suggest that.
Isnt if funny how quickly the british people jump up and down as soon as some detailing facts about the Mc canns may be released.
There are 2 sides to this story and the people dont seem to want to know the real one.
People seem to forget that these irresponsible parents left these 3 kids on their own, so they could indjuldge on food and alcohol.
There should be laws passed to charge parents of such negligence. If a prowler was watching the Mccann children, then he must have noticed that they left their children reguarly alone in the evenings, so unfortunately Madeleine was a very easy target.
Im very interested in the series, I do believe that eventually science will lead us to Madeleine and exactly what took place on that evening. I do believe that if the Tapas 9 were not so intoxicated then someone would have noticed something unusual, however when you are under the infulence of alchol (wasnt it 9 bottles of wine???) then your natural reactions are always delayed.
I do pray for Madeleines safe return as she is the innocent one in this mess.
Frankly, the proposed series is in very bad taste, as are some of the comments on this site, People are playing dangerous guessing games with other people’s lives. S cience has proved nothing so far and nor has speculation and malicious rumour

If truth is what you want, you are not going to get in in this TV series. Incidentally, science wont be solving this one. If it could, the McCanns would already be arrested and found guilty. If hard evidence exists, eight months is long enough to find it and use it for prosecution.
And no one has forgotten that the McCanns left the children alone. But concentrating on that will not help find out the truth or help in the search for Madeleine.
Can we stop trying to cash in on this tragedy?!
I would have expected better from the police- oh wait, i forgot, these are the police that contaminated DNA, let a policeman drive a suspects car, failed to seal off a crime scene, failed to seal of the borders, left it to the parents to put up posters… Couldn’t have expected much better, could we? Now they make a TV show incriminating the McCanns because they want to cover up their own stupid mistakes.
Did I mention that they didn’t even recognise a picture of Madeleine the night she vanished?
They should be putting their time toward finding this poor child, not making TV shows.

Bring Madeleine home!
At least the McCanns are productive in the search and know what their doing- bringing Madeleine home.
Kate and Gerry McCann already know that they shouldn’t have left Madeline and the twins but at the time they thought they were safe by being looked on every so often. Their mistake and they are beating themselves up over it. In the bible God forgives, repent and he will, and he has forgiven them for they are innocent of a crime due to naievety. I wouldn’t leave my children either, but they did and they are torturing themselves and wish they could turn back the clock. I still feel sorry for them and hope and pray Maddi will be found one day. Don’t keep beating them up because trafficing gangs will find a way. If they had their eye on her they could have snatched her in the front garden of the apartment when Gerry and Kate weren’t looking just like the Spanish girl from Huelva.
Do not torture this family anymore. A film is the lowest of the low especially as nobody knows the outcome of ‘missing’. How can anyone be so cruel.
Hopefully at some point in this series someone will explain how Maddys blood ended up in the trunk of a car rented over 3 weeks after she disappeared. Her parents maintain there is a valid explanation, but no where have I read what it is supposed to be.
