Tennis phenom Maria Sharapova: Sony Ericsson’s ambassador

Tennis is a sport that transcends nationality perhaps more than any other and phenom Maria Sharapova has become the “first global brand ambassador” for Sony Ericsson.

The cell phone brand has picked up Miss Sharapova with the intention of bringing awareness to the brand using a superstar athlete.

Engadget also said that Maria Sharapova will be working with the Sony Ericsson design team to possibly produce some to-be-named products and accessories.
