Colin Hanks and Jeff Daniels Sign On To Spielberg’s Chicago 7

A few more names have signed up to Steven Spielberg’s Chicago 7. The film follows the story of the trial following violent protests at the 1968 Democratic rally. CHUD.com have reported that Colin Hanks and Jeff Daniels have been approached to appear in the film, but they’re not the only names attached to the project.

Rumour has is that Philip Seymour Hoffman, Will Smith and Kevin Spacey are all potentials to star in the film. What a cast that would be! Even more exciting is the news that Sacha Baron Cohen may play Abbie Hoffman in the film – if this actually happens, I’ll be camping outside the cinema weeks before the premiere in make sure I get to see Chicago 7!
