Walt Disney World Marathon 2008 Results
The Walt Disney World Marathon 2008 started at 6 a.m. Sunday with thousands of Runners winding their way through the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios to reach the finish line and its said that they run for a place in the Disney record book.

It’s called a Magical 26 miles, and runners come from all over to experience Disney’s annual marathon.

According to netcot.com the results for the 2008 Disney Marathon are as follows:
First place went to Chad Johnson who is 31 beating his teammate C. Fred Joslyn who is 23, by a second with the official time of 1:06:53.

Kathleen Duran who is the Disney Sports Area Manager said that “this is truly a family experience. the Walt Disney World Marathon offers something for everyone. It’s a destination race, so our runners bring their children, their parents, We have over 4,000 runners representing charities… and on average our charities will raise $8 million,”

    I ran the 2007 Marathon. I have my Micky medal. I purchased a Walt Disney Marathon 2007 picture frame that unfortunately just broke. Where can I purchase a replacement.

    Miguel - not sure if you’re going to see this, but a client of mine actually builds nice marathon plaques. His company is called Fond Memories Graphics.
