If you’re looking to play YouTube Flash videos, MP3s and other similar content in the Apple iPhone’s Safari web browser then you may have had problems being able to do this.

iTransmogrify! Is a new bookmarklet for the iPhone which will amazingly “transform embedded Flash content into direct links to natively supported formats.

In English you will be able to play content in the iPhone’s Safari web browser which you could not before, and there are plans of making iTransmogrify support more formats soon.

Installation is easy with a drag of the iTransmogrify link (which can be found on joemaller.com) to Firefox or Safari Bookmarks, IE users should right click and choose “Add To Favorites…”

After you down that, just sync your iPhone.

iTransmogrify currently supports:

  • A variety of Flash-based MP3 players including Digg Podcasts
  • YouTube bare Object
  • YouTube bare Embed
  • Currently supported content: Default YouTube Object-Embed code
