Halo 3 Tournament: US Army and Microsoft Team Up

Microsoft and the US Army have teamed up for an exclusive Xbox Live Halo 3 Tournament, you can register from March 2008 and the tournament will begin in April.

Finalists and winners will get prizes, although we are not sure yet what they are.

What makes the lead-up to this Halo 3 Tournament even more exciting is that there will be pre-tournament training sessions, Team Xbox reports there will vehicle, heavy weapon and sniper training to keep your skills sharp.

If you are interested in joining the training sessions then you can register right now and they will begin exclusively on Xbox LIVE on the 19th of Jan.

The Basic Combat Training schedule is as follows:

  • Sniper School Training begins: 1/19
  • Heavy Weapons Training begins: 2/9
  • Vehicles Training begins: 3/1
