Eastenders: Ray Winstone Jokes About Role

It has been rumored that there was a possibility that Ray Winstone, who starred in Vincent could have been joining the cast of Eastenders as Archie Mitchell, the father of Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell.

Winstone, who is good friends with Janus, joked: “I’ll play her fella but I’m not playing her dad!”

“There are no current plans for Archie Mitchell to appear in the show. The character, however, is mentioned in the scripts.” Said an East enders spokesperson.
