LittleBigPlanet
LittleBigPlanet is one of the biggest and most talked about games of 2008 among all consoles, the Sony Playstation 3 game may be the breaking point for the PS3 vs Xbox 360 debate.

For anyone that does not know much about LittleBigPlanet we have three videos below which give you a massive insight into the game, we have a community trailer, CES 2008: Demonstration and a Character Creation video below.

Little Big Planet

Many game sites are liking what they see when they review LittleBigPlanet, AMN Games said “Sony has accomplished the inconceivable: they have made their console appear attractive to me” and IGN said “While Sony has published some great games for their system like Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank, neither of those games really seem to have the staying power that LBP is poised to offer.

LittleBigPlanet will not only be a game, but also a massive community and a way gamers can share their creations with friends, family and the world.

LBP

Although the Xbox 360 had a big start, it now looks like the Playstation 3 is turning heads its way.

Doesn’t impress me really. If I owned a PS3 I would buy a stack of games over this. This game is great for tech demos but are you really going to get hours of enjoyment if you aren’t an artistic person? (which most people arent). And even if someone creates a great level will the excitement last longer than a couple of minutes? I doubt it. I think its a great addition to the PS3, but you (and other PS3 fans) really think this is the breaking point?

For now I try and respect the hype until it released “eventually” and people spend more than just a few minutes with it.

  2. John on January 12th, 2008 11:31 am

This game will definitely be a ground braker in the art of gaming. making your own levels……. whew…..endless……How can you not like this game….It’s endless…. The only time the game will get boring is when we (the people) stop creating levels for it……not gonna happen… IMO………..

  3. Fred on January 12th, 2008 12:00 pm

    @ Devise

You dont have to create anything if you dont want to. Its like YouTube. You can make your own stuff if you want or just spend your time with stuff other people have made.

I defy anyone to watch this video of the 4 player multiplayer and say crap like you did that they ‘will only play a few minutes on it’.

    http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/17010

  4. Rob on January 12th, 2008 12:32 pm

I was initially sceptical about this as I have never really wanted to make games. Then I thought about creating stuff with my son and suddenly it looked like it could be amazing fun. Just hope it lives up to the hype.

  5. Devise on January 12th, 2008 12:50 pm

I never said the game was crap, and I never said people ‘will only play a few minutes on it’. Why did you put something I didn’t say in quotes like it came from my mouth?

Anyway. It still only mildly appeals to me from that video footage. I’ve seen plenty of LBP videos before. It’s basically just a puzzle game with custom levels. Each level has zero replay value. The amount of time it took to create that level in the editor and the result is 3 minutes of mild entertainment. I think the replay value is suspect even with the custom levels. Does it even have any balanced competitive multiplayer aspect to it? If you die on a level 100 times but cross the line are you still the winner? Just throwing these questions out there. Dont hate on me, just tell me your opinion. I’m interested to hear some responses.

  6. Fred on January 12th, 2008 1:01 pm

    @ Devise

I suggest you just stick with your 360 and shooting things. Idiot.

  7. Rob on January 12th, 2008 1:05 pm

@Devise. I think your questions are valid. You need to be able to do more than just bounce your way from one end of a level to the other solving the odd puzzle as you go. Will be interesting to see. Presumably there must be some mechanism to time and score progress. It would be nice to be able to impede as well as help other players.

LittleBigPlanet is one of the most eagerly awaited games in years. It has received universal praise and is set to be absolutely huge. Every single reporter who has seen a demo in person or who has had any hands on time with it has showered it in praise.

Strangely though, most Xbox 360 owners think its rubbish. I wonder why? lol

  9. Devise on January 12th, 2008 1:12 pm

    Hahaha. You’re too funny Fred.

  10. human on January 12th, 2008 1:49 pm

    2008 game of the year

  11. bneals on January 12th, 2008 2:52 pm

I love this “lbp” will be the tipping point crap. FYI - 360 owners like shooters. That has always been MS’s strong point. If you had any clue, you would realize that games like Resistance 2 and Killzone will affect the 360-PS3 battle far more than lbp. Lbp is going after the ninteno crown - not the 360 one. Pimkin and mario galaxy were great too - they didn’t make me run ouot and get a n64 or a wii.

  12. john2 on January 12th, 2008 2:57 pm

this game isnt for me either. dont be all pissy just not my type of game. looks like a great concept but not alot of the people i play with will like this game either i dont think.

  13. Matt on January 12th, 2008 3:28 pm

This is just another product of the Sony hype machine, like all PS3 products. They pay everyone to ooo and aaa over it and all fanboys just swoon to the floor (they will even keep swooning for months after it is released). LBP looks real cutesy but ultimately stupid to me. I like games with more of a point/direction. Sony is so far behind in this race that every new product for the PS3 sounds like God’s next gift to earth, according to all the press they pay off. That should be their new motto btw: Fake it until you make it - or just keep faking it. Every new game’s hype of awesomeness keeps getting louder and louder and more and more desperate. Makes me want to puke.

  14. xboxlive gamertag... newarknj360 on January 12th, 2008 3:47 pm

i am a 360fan and will never purchase a ps3 but i think this is a good game ps3 is starting to impress me

  15. Dave on January 12th, 2008 4:00 pm

I might have been more impressed if they could have pulled it off in an open world environment but getting that level of graphics in a side scrolling platform type of a game isn’t really all that ground breaking, it may well be a fun playable game but we aint gonna know that till we’ve had a chance to play a demo so i’m unlike some i’m not going to shoot my mouth off about something that is unknown.

  16. Trevor on January 12th, 2008 4:29 pm

HAHAHAHAHA! Breaking point where PS3 falls off into the deep end. 360 owns PS3 and will always own PS3.

  17. Simon on January 12th, 2008 4:29 pm

I umm…still after everything ive heard and seen…still dont know …what the actual aim of the game is?……Is it like donkey kong or something……I just watched that 4 player co op video…It didnt look very fun. Side scrolling not doing much…DK definatly had more depth in level design but apparently thats up to the user no?
    Don’t get me wrong I love my ps3 to bits..i just dont..understand…

Hmm maybe ill just stick to metal gear solid for now.

  18. Paul on January 12th, 2008 5:21 pm

LBP has gone back 3 generations to the side-scrolling era to try and pull off a fluff title that shows of the PS3 except it’s a year too late to launch the system and 3 gens too late in gameplay terms, some may be wowed by it’s shiny cutsie looks and level building but an oldschool side-scrolling platform game is gonna have to do something really special to get my vote.

  19. Barrell on January 12th, 2008 6:44 pm

Game looks like a good time to me…

Considering that LBP is looking to do something different instead of just rehashing old game play ideas I think it definitely warrants a chance.

I mean if I’m willing to spend money on 3 halo games, 4 or 5 devil may cry games (i can’t remember what number they’re on now) or even 12 final fantasies where it’s pretty much just the same thing over and over again I’m definitely going to give LBP a go!

  20. superdynamite on January 12th, 2008 7:08 pm

LittleBIGPplanet! Awesome. Pre-ordered it at GS already. Can’t wait

  21. Greg on January 12th, 2008 7:26 pm

God you XBOX 360 fanboys are real pieces of work. Why don’t you go spend time playing your wonderful system and stop pissing on every PS3 post. Maybe you are waiting for your next refurbished replacement system to come from Microsoft! You all talk about overhyped? You people hype up the XBOX 360 and XBL more than Sony could EVER do for any of its PS3 games.

@Matt This game makes you puke? Here Ill bring you a garbage can, puke your brains out. Don’t hold back.

Anyway, this game looks neat. I can imagine many possibilities this game can provide in making levels. Looking forward to it. It should compliment Home very well.

  22. izomax on January 12th, 2008 7:43 pm

People who can’t see this game is groundbreaking are the ones who have no brains.

Playing too much XBOX FPS will make you brain dead.

What’s the point of shooting after shooting after shooting after shooting? IT has zero value.

XBOX fanboy have being pisoned by shooting games that they have no soul and no IQ.

A recent study show that playing FPS games makes you dumber, which is what we are seeing with XBOX players.

  23. trevor is a knob on January 12th, 2008 8:13 pm

omg trevor, your a funny man!

the ps3 will always own the 360, and its the 360 that has always been in the deep end to begin with.

    hahahaha

  24. ByMyBullets on January 12th, 2008 8:27 pm

Well i am a really big fan of Sony. You can say i am a sucker for any sony product because i feel it is simply a much superior quality, but lately i have found myself playing on my XBOX360 and not even taking a glance at my PS3 anymore. I feel the same way most people do, that it that the PS3 has no games(YET). I really dont find any interest in this LBP game. And if sony is hoping this game will be the “turning point”… Then SONY has let me down…

I feel like if my ps3 is just a really expensive DVD player.

  25. Mike on January 12th, 2008 8:36 pm

It always makes me laugh when a Sony fanboy attacks an Xbox fanboy for being a fanboy, hypocrisy anyone?

If anything i would say that the Sony fans just about have the edge on talking crap but then if you’re gonna treat console gaming like supporting a football team, it’s usually the team at the bottom of the league that makes the most noise, plus Product-Review has turned into a Sony fansite so i guess it’s like playing at home here.

  26. Jimmy on January 12th, 2008 8:51 pm

I dont get you people you either like it or don’t like sony give a Sh*t your jus the consumers and IMO PS3 is better than Xbox 360, Yeh Ive got both around 30 games for the 360 and 7 for the PS3, PS3 has much more capanbilities than the Xbox 360 its at the end of its life in a year or so Xbox will jus make another xbox with a added HD-DVD player or Blu-Ray if HD-DVD isnt dead, and maybe that might have the Red lights of death, and PS3 will still not reach its full potential.

  27. `_-OXO-_` on January 12th, 2008 9:11 pm

    @ Mike

Well according to VGChartz the 360 has been the lowest selling console in the world for the last few weeks behind the DS, Wii, PSP, PS3 and PS2 so that must be why its fans are ranting about this game eh?

Its amazing how anyone who doesn’t own a 360 thinks it looks amazing and everyone who does ‘cant see the point’ or thinks it ‘looks dumb’.

Its just plain and simple jealousy that the PS3 is made by a company that brings true innovation and creativity to their console games.

LittleBigPlanet is going to be huge. This is an incredibly fun online 4 player plat former where its entirely possible to play every day for the rest of your life and never play the same level twice.

  28. Mike on January 12th, 2008 9:52 pm

    @`_-OXO-_`

You really should stick to throwing you’re tantrum at somebody who actually gives a damn, such as another fanboy of the opposing team maybe.

On a side note i have no opinion of any kind for this game as it is a new franchise and i haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but you seem to be able to recommend it to everyone, i’m just wondering have you played it yet?

  29. Random on January 12th, 2008 10:11 pm

It seems to me, people bash this game for two reasons. One, they don’t understand the premise, fully. Two, they own a 360 and are closed minded. The second can’t be helped, but lets shed some light on the first, shall we? Ok, so you have two main aspects, custom levels and cooperation.

Custom Levels: In a normal game, one might play through level after level, until the game is completed. LBP, not only do you have a virtually unlimited number of levels, each level is different and offers new challenges and ways of thinking.

Cooperation: Does multiplayer, really, need to be VS? You and a few friends sit down and work together to beat level after level after level. I don’t know about anyone else, but I can imagine a lot of casual gamers sitting down with friends for hours looking for levels that look fun. They’d sit and yell and laugh at each other for messing up, and be proud of each other when they completed the level. That reason, is probably a top reason why people are saying this game will launch PS3 sales.

So, with those two points illustrated, anyone with a clear head can see the potential of this game. It doesn’t matter what your personal opinion of the game is. What matters is how well LBP appeals to the world. I’m betting on those two points appealing to a LOT of people.

As someone said earlier, it’s like YouTube. You sit down and watch(play) many different videos(levels). You can share them online, or have your friends come over and show them. OR, you can all play someone elses level (watch someone elses video, in the case of YouTube).

Will it make 360 users think, “I NEED a PS3, now!”? Probably, not. Will it stop people from buying a 360? Maybe, the ones who don’t want to buy a 360 *and* a Wii. Could it stop all the dramatic spins of bad press for the PS3? Yea, maybe. (Minus the 360 fanboys, of course).

Overall, the game has potential. I, personally, am not looking forward to it, but I can see why people are making a big fuss about it.

  30. Greg on January 12th, 2008 10:35 pm

    @Mike

Actually I considered getting a 360 because of XBL and a few of its exclusives, but I decided to wait until they have the RROD issue ironed out, and then I may own both systems by the end of this year.

My angst was mostly referring to people insulting this game for the sake of insulting it. I guess I shouldn’t expect any kind of objectivity in these blogs and their comments anyway.

You are right, this is almost like football. But the bottom team is starting their comeback :P

  31. Blu on January 12th, 2008 10:37 pm

LittleBigPlanet is amazing! If you like the same old shooters, 360 is for you. If you like games that are inovative and have endless possibly (With the capacity of Blu-ray), PS3 is for you. 08 is the year of the Playstation!

  32. Matt on January 12th, 2008 11:07 pm

@Greg - The hype about all things PS3 makes me want to puke not LBP since I haven’t played it yet (and probably never will). Plus, about LBP and this level design HYPE: hey, it takes YEARS to make a great video game. I, for one, do not want to spend time playing all these cheesy little levels made up by people out there like you and me. How boring. And those of you out there still scared about the supposed RROD: I Got my 360 Feb 2006 and its been going strong ever since. All of my friends have 360s so we can team up on XBL. I enjoyed the Hell outta Bioshock, Mass Effect, Condemned, Halo 3, N3, FEAR Files, Overlord, Dead Rising and even Kameo and Bulletwitch, not to mention a slew of other games that were released on both PS3/360. 99% of all upcoming games are on my 360 so why would I want to buy a PS3? It just doesn’t add up. Why would anyone buy it? Just for what like 4 exclusive games? so nyahh.

  33. Random on January 12th, 2008 11:26 pm

Eh, I kind of found all the Mass Effect, BioShock, and Halo 3 hype a bit annoying, myself.

“NICE! We have MORE shooters! That’s, almost, NO variety whatsoever! ”

I mean, I don’t care, really. People will by excited about whatever they want.

As far as great games taking YEARS to make. That’s a full game. It involves coding, feature design, character design, modelling, bug testing, and many other things. These are going to be levels where you drag and drop things on screen to create puzzling challenges for anyone willing to try. It doesn’t really compare.

Why would you buy a PS3?
I enjoy the exclusives, along with the 3rd party.
PS3 home will offer all that Live does, and more.
Games in higher resolution and quality with HDMI.
Moves in higher resolution and quality with HDMI.
I can upgrade the harddrive to however large I want. With games using them more and more it’ll be nice to have, not to mention storing all the movies and music I want.
System doesn’t heat up as much as the 360, nor does Sony have to send back as many refurbished machines as the 360.
With a more powerful machine, and larger disc storage, the scope of potential is far greater than the 360’s.

The way I see it, the only thing the 360 has going for it is bigger install base because Microsoft decided to throw out a buggy machine a year early so they’d make more money with no competition, and set up good road for the future. Also, for some people, like myself, there is no reason to own two or three systems. So, I’m not going to buy a 360 just to have them put out a new one in a year or 2 (happened with Xbox, and they did the same thing with the Elite). Nor will I buy a 360 just for other systems to take off in a couple of years, and be convinced I need that one as well.

You can sit with your 360, and enjoy it. That’s fine. But, you know, you asked why anyone would buy a PS3. The reasons above are, pretty much, why.

  34. DJ DaveLee on January 12th, 2008 11:31 pm

u dumbass those are all shooters who gives a fuck about the xbox that only shoots for shooters. I myself like to play all types of games other then shooters.

  35. BluDawn on January 12th, 2008 11:38 pm

Looks pretty cool to me……rather play a demo first before I buy the actual game though.

  36. Matt on January 12th, 2008 11:45 pm

Then you are in the minority with all the other dozen or so people who bought platformers like Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Lair etc. Oh and by the way? Tomb Raider Anniversary was AWESOME on my 360. HA HA

  37. craig on January 12th, 2008 11:46 pm

how can u call halo 3 a great exclusive? a friend of mine has a 360 and i think it’s a good system but prefer ps3 (just my opinion) i played halo 3 on the 360 the other day (halo 1 and 2 i thought were quite good) and thought it was awful the graphics on halo 1 on an average pc were better! the guns are boring (it’s not like cod4 where it feels like you are firing a weapon, just like your pushing a button, it has no soul!) and don’t say im just being a fanboy because a minute later i played bioshock and thought it was AMAZING!

  38. Random on January 12th, 2008 11:54 pm

    @Matt

It’s good you named those games, because they are amazingly fun. Also good how you named 4 great non FPS games compaired to your 1 Tomb Raider. Also, notice, of those 4 games, they’re all really different gameplay. Hm…

Well, anyway, I dont mind being in the minority. It offers more fun, variety, and creativity. *for me*.

So, as I said. You can sit with your 360, and enjoy the FPS. I am, 100%, fine with that. I’ll stick to the system that has great games of all genres.

  39. Sarren on January 13th, 2008 12:35 am

I hate everything gaystation3, this game look like crap,Tr8^ sh1t plzzzzzzz keep playstation4 in japan/europe.

  40. Devil's Advocate on January 13th, 2008 12:41 am

No offence, but I also don’t see the big deal in this type of game. Like someone else said above.. it’s like Donkey Kong. Yea it’s great and you can make your own characters, maps and games, but.. it’s like Donkey Kong!

I can see younger kids and girls liking this sort of thing with the cute little characters and everything, but some of you make it seem like this is ground breaking material. Give me a break!

Don’t get me wrong, I have both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 and unlike the fanboys, I think they are equally great systems. But is this the game that will push Sony to the top? Definitely not.

  41. Warren on January 13th, 2008 2:42 am

LBP looks like a good game for children. That is what is needed for the PS3 to bring people from the Wii fold. Yet I won’t buy it because it looks childish and I might have played a game like this 20 years ago. I do have to admit that the graphics on this game are astounding.

This is the reason Wii says it isn’t trying to compete with the XBOX 360 and the PS3. Well Wii better start looking over your shoulder. After the fall of HD-DVD your next.

  42. Reality Check on January 13th, 2008 3:00 am

Maybe it’s me, but that game doesn’t look like any fun at all. Who wants to sit around putting up making goofy looking environments (levels or what ever you want to call them). I certainly don’t and I surely am not taking the time to scan through the piles of garbage that most people would create just to find something remotely appealing. You can sit here and argue back and forth about it, but this game is destined to sit by the other waste of time games that have come out for the PS3 so far. Boring to say the least and pathetic if this is actually a title us PS3 fans are supposed to be looking forward to this year. If this is the best we are getting, I am jumping ship!

  43. Matt on January 13th, 2008 4:04 am

@random: which would be the 360. Esp since it has Silent Hill V, Resident Evil 5, GTA4, Devil May Cry 4, Soul Calibur 4, Dark Messiah, Condemned 2, Alone in the Dark, Alan Wake, Too Human, Dead Space, Fallout 3, Brutal Legend, Borderlands, Left 4 Dead, and others coming. These are great games of all genres. Look I had a PS1 and a PS2 and then bought an XBox and then a 360. Microsoft is just wiping the floor with Sony this time and they are doing a damn good job at it. I would buy a PS3 but Sony is just messing up big time and they have not impressed me nearly as much as Microsoft has this time around. MS gets my money and my favor. LBP is just nowhere near interesting enough. Maybe if it had some kind of PLOT or STORY to go along with all its other “coolness.”

  44. Random on January 13th, 2008 4:30 am

    @Matt
Admittedly, of that list, there are numerous games I had never heard of. So, I went and looked them up on gamespot. Take a look at the games that are multiplatform.

Silent Hill V, Resident Evil 5, GTA4, Devil May Cry 4, Soul Calibur 4, Condemned 2, Alone in the Dark, Dead Space, Fall Out 3, Brutal Legend, Borderlands

The games that are 360 Exclusive are Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead, and Too Human.

Left 4 Dead = FPS (Go figured)
Alan Wake = Ok, you shoot(yay shooting) monsters in the dark. Silent Hill and Resident Evil just MIGHT be good enough for me, so doubt I’ll miss Alane Wake that much.
Too Human = Heavenly Sword? God of War 3? Pick one.

Ok, here are three future PS3 games.

    God Of War 3
    Finaly Fantasy XIII
    MGS4 ( 360 might get it in a year or so )
(Oh hell lets throw in a shooter) Resistance 2

Not to mention we already have (as mentioned) Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly sword, UT3, Warhawk, Resistance, Lair, Folklore, etc.

UT3, Resistance, Warhawk. 3 Genres of shooters, and all great sellers on the PS3. Every other game listed are DIFFERENT from each other.

Are we done with this debate yet? Am I the only one that thinks I’ve proved my point?

I dont hate 360, or LOVE the PS3. Each system has their pluses and minuses. What I do hate, however, is that section of the 360 community that can’t grow up and realize they just MIGHT have wasted $300-$400 on a system because they didn’t want to wait a year.

  45. Random on January 13th, 2008 4:57 am

Anyway, there’s nothing much more I really need to say, the point’s been illustrated. Just remember, regardless of rather you like LBP, or not, it still has plenty to offer people. Some will like what it offers, some won’t. You just so happen to be one who doesn’t. Forunately, your opinion doesn’t stop others from liking the game, and making system sales. Not to be rude, but this conversation has become pointless and I’m tired of getting the e-mails. Night, all.

  46. Brian on January 13th, 2008 7:53 am

Explain to me why there are so many 360 fans in an article and thread about a game they’ll never play? If they owned a PS3 they wouldn’t be dumping on LBP because even the PS3 hating media can’t deny the potential brilliance of this game. Even Nintendo is envious with statements such as ‘LBP is on the wrong console’. The game at it’s core is a physics sandbox. The wii couldn’t handle the amazing physics simulation of this title while I don’t think most FPS fogged-in 360 fanboys have the creativity to comprehend the potential of a you-tube supplied Mario game. It’s cute, it appeals to kids as well as adults and this one is gonna be huge. Unless everyone who’s had hands on time is completely wrong… it’s going to definately be in consideration (fighting with KZ2, MGS4, GT5, GTA4 and Fallout 2) for GOTY 2008. Please not there are no 360 exclusives in that list.

  47. Warren on January 13th, 2008 11:13 am

I really don’t understand the need to get an XBOX 360. Most of there good games come to PC. ie…Fable, Riddick, Bioshock, Halo, Halo 2, etc… The list goes on.

People need to start realizing that the XBOX 360 doesn’t really have excusive games. Halo 3 will come out soon enough on PC.

I am happy with my PS3 for which I have a ton of games.

  48. Simon on January 13th, 2008 12:32 pm

“Maybe if it had some kind of PLOT or STORY to go along with all its other “coolness.” ”

haha Im suprised your not use 2 games like that being a 360 owner.

And yeah.. I did say it was like donkey kong.
And im 19 years old and i would gladly play donkey kong on my snes 10 times more then most games that are out these days.

Even DK had a better storyline then most Next gen games out there. esp. on xbox. not being a fan boy but i was really dissapointed with some high profile games on there. sorry.
Try to deny it but you know it was true.
    No soul

This article isn’t really about LBP, btw. Look at the title again: it says “PS3 vs. 360″ very distinctly. That’s what makes me want to puke. Every article about every new PS3 game says “oh, this is the one, this is the one game that is going to show people how AWESOME the PS3 is.” Everytime I hear about a new PS3 game they have to mention the XBox 360 and how they THINK the PS3 is equal to or better than it. And you KNOW this is true. Xbox 360 game articles don’t waste breath on the PS3 because the 360 is already winning. So really this is just all about how people with a PS3 don’t want to feel how they WASTED $5-600 on a useless system with SUBPAR games and how Sony is trying to turn up the HYPE to eleven to get people to buy their useless system.

“I suggest you just stick with your 360 and shooting things. Idiot.”

Then I suggest PS3 owners stop using Unreal Tournament and Resistance Fall of Man as a selling point.

    Yup, I agree.

Guess we need to go back to Gizmodo and Joystiq for non-biased coverage.

I have a suggestion…buy all three consoles so you can play any game you want.

This fantasy people have that says either the 360 or the PS3 is going away permanently any time soon is just that, a fantasy.

This game must be for the Asian crowd. I can’t see hardcore gamers playing this shit, especially grown up gamers. It may have a chance with prepubescent kids (7th graders or something). LOL..Imagine talking to your boys, “What are you playing son?” “Ya know, getting my LilBigPlanet on.” LOL…Not a good look. BOOM!

    @ Greg
lol, actually I am surfing the web cause im waiting on my xbox to get fixed. Although it died on me, I know ill get one back that has new insides and will last. The great customer support makes me love xbox even more. ps3 is pretty sweet too but right now the box is on top. Im hoping for strong showing from ps3 in the coming years. Competition is good for everyone.

I have to admit the more that I think about it. LBP does have the cutesy effect going for it. Just what alot of asian gamers in Japan like. I agree with the poster named Sony. I have been living in Japan for a year now and the cute crap is getting on my nerves. sigh…another two years and its back stateside. This game is for children unless you are a Japanese adult…lol.

Japan is one of the safest places in the world 2 live… Atleast they dont have to go through metal detectors before school.

Safest you say. My fiance lives in Tokyo and had her bike stolen at her place of work on camera. The lock was cut. Plus the way women are treated as second class citizens is truly disrespectful to them…then again it is there society and who am i to judge.

After reading over everything and seeing the vidz I started thinking about another game that seem to have some of the same ideas…. “Cookies and Cream”.
