Ron Paul denies being Racist

In an interview with Live 5, Presidential Candidate Ron Paul has denied that he is Racist. An old newsletter which was published in the name of Paul contains some shocking statements about gays, black and many other minorities.

Ron Paul has denied ever writing this newsletter, and states that everyone in his district knows that he did not write it. One of the statements that have caused the controversy was about the Los Angeles Riots, which states “order was restored when blacks went to “pick up their welfare checks.”

Ron Paul said that these statements were published in the 80’s and 90’s and that he did not write any of them, and it seems funny that they are coming now for political reasons.

He explains what happened and what he truly believes.

He believes that only small minded people put other people into groups. That we are all individuals and should be treated as such.

His heros are Rosa Parks (he didn’t vote for her medal in congres..because he wanted the congressmen to personally chip in their own money and not spend the tax payers money), Martin Luther King Jr., and Ghandi.

He truly cares about shrinking the government size and ensuring that hard working Americans can take care of themselves.

He believes in keeping men and women out of jail for drug charges that make no sense. He wants to bring those people home to their families.

He is a man that cares deeply about this country and it is obvious his views on freedom are not popular with the USA media.

I have met him..he is a great man and hopefully even the media in America will not destory the message of hope and prosperity he shares.

We are lucky to have a politician that tells us the truth about our Economy, our countries past mistakes, and where we should go in the future.

He is the exact opposite of a racist person.

Action speaks louder then words. Ron Paul has more black support then any other Republican. One reason is that black people are disproportionally harmed by the War on Drugs which Ron Paul will end. He will pardon all non violent drug offenders. Drug laws treat a medical problem as a criminal problem. He will end this discrimination. Any one who reads his platform knows that individual liberty is the opposite of racism. This was a deliberate attempt to smear the most honorable man in Washington.

Today, as New Hampshire voters headed to the polls, The New Republic published an article carefully timed to hurt Ron Paul.

This article rehashes an old issue of quotations from newsletters published under Dr. Paul’s name, but not edited by him. Dr. Paul takes full responsibility, as he has for over a decade, for failing to adequately monitor the words that went out under his name.

You and I know that Dr. Paul’s message of freedom is about individual liberty, and that liberty is the best antidote to racism. If anyone has doubts, I would encourage them to read Dr. Paul’s issue page on racism.

Dr. Paul’s response to the article is posted here. As you would expect, Congressman Paul denounces racism and embraces instead, the hopeful message of freedom — the message he has championed for decades.

    Sincerely,

    Kent Snyder

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – In response to an article published by The New Republic, Ron Paul issued the following statement:

“The quotations in The New Republic article are not mine and do not represent what I believe or have ever believed. I have never uttered such words and denounce such small-minded thoughts.

“In fact, I have always agreed with Martin Luther King, Jr. that we should only be concerned with the content of a person’s character, not the color of their skin. As I stated on the floor of the U.S. House on April 20, 1999: ‘I rise in great respect for the courage and high ideals of Rosa Parks who stood steadfastly for the rights of individuals against unjust laws and oppressive governmental policies.’

“This story is old news and has been rehashed for over a decade. It’s once again being resurrected for obvious political reasons on the day of the New Hampshire primary.

“When I was out of Congress and practicing medicine full-time, a newsletter was published under my name that I did not edit. Several writers contributed to the product. For over a decade, I have publicly taken moral responsibility for not paying closer attention to what went out under my name.”

Actions speak louder than words for sure: except for Paul, the other candy-dates are clones of Bush, and Bush is the one shaking his wanger at Iran. Their cover-ass calls for change and caution aren’t believable. Actions also speak louder than words in regard to Ron Paul: not even MSM journalists are buying into the disinformation campaign yelling “racist homophobe” at Dr. Paul. His life and words too clearly speake otherwise. See his statements on snarksreview.com.

Quite frankly, America does not need any Sodomites in the White House, nor mass murderers or thieves. The Clintons should go hide under the biggest rock they can find and hope that when the real hailstorm comes they are granted mercy and spared from eternal destruction. Furthermore, all of the “OLD GUARD” blacks ought to be ashamed of themselves for supporting these creeps anyway. There are thousands of people who will have their hands out if the Clintons do slide in the oval office again and will be expecting payoff. America’s politics is all about patronage, because to the “victor goes the spoils.” Many folks have “sold their soul” in the interest of “faith based initiative thought” just to fleece America and the Black Community. Someone once said, “that Black people are their own worst enemy” and this truth is being played out all across the country between those of them who have and those who have not. It’s a tragedy that not one candidate on either side has mentioned how they are going to include rather than exclude those Blacks who feel shutout and betrayed by a country who rather put guns in black boys hands than college degrees. This stuff is all hypocrisy, if you ask me! The devil has manipulated you people into thinking that this is all worth fighting for. So, of course the Clintons, Romney’s and Edwards will be stooping to all-time low, in the days to come, to fend off MR. OBAMA’S chances. Listen to them carefully, the code language has just begun.
