About 90,000 of the Portfolio Incandescent Torchiere Lamps are being recalled, those who have one are asked to stop using them immediately. There have been two reports that these lights have caught fires, however thankfully there are no reports of any injuries.
The reason for the recall is that there is a short circuit in the lamp; this faulty wiring can cause a fire hazard.
