Kanye West To Headline Glastonbury This Year?

Michael Eavis, organiser or the legendary Glastonbury festival has sparked rumours that Kanye West will be headlining the festival this year. The rapper, who recently lost his mother, is tipped as favourite after Eavis announced he had booked a ‘black American headliner’ so the festival would appeal to a younger audience.

Eavis said, “I’m putting on a black American headliner, who is absolutely terrific, that’s going to appeal to those people.”

Ok, so Eavis’ statement isn’t very clear, afterall there are a number of other big US stars in the mix including Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Beyoncé. The festival guru had also claimed that he desperately wants Amy Winehouse to perform at the weekend event.

When asked if Winehouse would appear on the bill Eavis said, “I hope so, I really, really do need her.”

So, do you think Kayne is the black American headliner Eavis is talking about? Who would you like to see at Glasto this year?
